C.H.O.I.C.E. |
| The Redeemed, Africa operates with six primary focuses or as we like to call them, C.H.O.I.C.E opportunities: |
| 1. Child & youth services (parenting, housing, food, clothing, counseling, mentoring, & other care) |
| 2. Health & medical care (medicine, mobile clinics, training, emergencyassistance, short & long term care) |
| 3. Outreach opportunity & activity (sports, travel, collection & distribution of gifts-in-kind, school programs, foreign missions, event planning) |
| 4. Income generation & business planning (creating small businesses, saving & loan programs, financial planning & counsel, matching work funds program) |
| 5. Community service &development (volunteering, community empowerment, networking, wells, water, roads, solar power & other development) |
6. Education & training (primary, secondary, vocational, under graduate, Bible, seminars, conferences, & other specialized training)
By providing the above C.H.O.I.C.E. opportunities, we give ourchildren and youth a choice to help themselves. We give them tools to work with, esteem to own, a family to belong too and a drive to reciprocate the experience in the lives of others.
They become an intricate part of the family, the community and the world in a respectable way. No longer pitied, shamed, fear filled, they shine as problem solvers, innovators, successful candidates to lead Africa into a brighter tomorrow. |
